The Winter Palace Costa Azul chandelier seems to have been taken directly from the summer palaces of the Russian tsars or nobility on the banks of the Mediterranean. With a matte and gloss porcelain finish, the main structure of the lamp is made of gloss porcelain with accents in gold lustre, while the accessories are in matte porcelain. Light is projected through the translucent porcelain of its lampshades. Its hanging threads are made of opaque porcelain pieces, separated from one other by small, handmade, faceted Austrian glass beads. Decorated with the fresh colours of sea water (blue, beige, green, lavender and purple), in a combination of matte and gloss finishes.
